" At the beginning of June, I completed my first intervention as a practitioner of Triple P Positive Parenting Program. Over the course of eight weeks, I had the opportunity to observe how things changed in the families of the participants. From a practitioner's perspective, the most beneficial part for me is the fact that parents had the opportunity to reflect on their parenting style, share their experiences with parenting and practice positive parenting strategies in a safe environment. Some families experienced major changes, with one mother describing her daughter's tantrums at the beginning of the intervention, which recurred several times a week. By the end of the program, her daughter's tantrums were only sporadic. The mother attributed this outcome to the use of strategies from the program. Some families then experienced minor changes, with parents perceiving their own calming down, improvement in the family atmosphere, etc. After the first intervention, I see the programme as effective not only for families with children with behavioural problems, but also for parents who want to prevent behavioural problems or improve the atmosphere in their family."
